The deadline has passed for submitting forms.
Grant applications are now being reviewed by a local independent and trusted panel of caring individuals who have each signed conflict of interest and confidentiality statements. Final granting decisions rest with The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County (“TCF”), fiscal sponsor for LCF.
This holiday season, many people are giving Rebuild Lyons donations as gifts given in the name of their designated gift recipient. Donations are still being accepted.

My beautiful small town has been devastated. The two rivers which drop from the Rockies converge at Lyon's center were inundated with a storm system of epic proportions beginning Wednesday September 11th, 2013.
Quite literally our town was drowned. Standing water causes some problems but raging flood waters causes quite a few more. Things like buildings and roads and parks are not just soggy but completely gone or buried in a morass of mud and debris.
In very short order we lost those services we all take for granted; gas, water, sewage, electric. These were not simple disconnections but the outright destruction of what connections connect to. Some of the most unfortunate have lost their homes and the land on which it used to stand.
As I write this more is unknown than known and it is still raining. What I do know is that our little community needs and will need financial assistance to get back on its knees and then feet so that we may once again shoulder our load and help others in future and unknown catastrophes.
If you are interested in donating to the Lyons Flood Relief Fund please click on the donate now button on our home page and if writing a check please send this to: The Community Foundation in Boulder 1123 Spruce Street Boulder CO 80302. Specify this is for the Lyons Flood Relief Fund.
Thank you for your love, support and financial assistance as we start on our road to recovery. Lyons is a strong community and we will rebuild.

Give Blood, Swab Your Cheek. Save a life!
Bonfils is coming March 31, 2013 from 11 to 3. Lyons Community Foundation and Bonfils are bringing the van to Lyons. We need 37 donors to fill the bus. Give the gift of life!
Not only is this a blood drive, but also make this a bone marrow registration drive too. Bone marrow matches are extremely rare. Thus, the need for lots of people to register, and increase the odds. The registration requires filling out a simple form, and a quick cheek swab (self-administered).
We need 37 donors to maximize the bus' utilization for the blood donations, and to tell the world that we're Lyons Hearted. It's important to make an appointment. To do so, please either visit the registration website - donors.bonfils.org, or call 303-363-2300.
